It is hard to believe that it has been over one month since the State of Ohio issued shutdown and shelter in place orders during the COVID-19 crisis. During that time, the team at Litzler and our U.S. divisions PSC and Quickdraft have implemented social distancing and new distancing practices such as daily temperature monitoring and face masks when in the office. Machine assembly has new social, cleaning and other practices implemented to maintain staff safety.
Parts of our business were deemed essential as we work on projects to increase N95 mask production for a customer and work to get new machines shipped and commissioned for a special new packaging process to support increased on-line ordering.
A small technical team at Litzler is also donating their time to consult with a team at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation to assist with PPE sterilization process ideas.
